In certain environments like condominium complexes, couriers are only allowed to drop off their payloads at designated drop-off stations instead of delivering it directly the recipient. These regulations have become increasingly popular in condominiums during Covid-19 pandemic, part due government SOPs encouraging adoption. A partially automated delivery system using robot that deliver from recipient is developed. The made up a central PostgreSQL database, Webots simulated and two Android applications for interfacing with system. Two individuals operate system: operator resident requesting delivery. sends requests Resident android application. acknowledges requests, then loads configures carry package(s) resident’s housing unit through Operator Navigation obstacle avoidance achieved usage A* pathfinding algorithm. To receive once arrives, QR code enabled compartment on unlocked application again. database Advantech WISE-PaaS Dashboard used display residents’ data status operators. NodeRED MQTT facilitate communications between robot, database. end, able navigate virtual environment minimal faults communicate properly Robot speed set 0.27 ms-1 when empty, maximum carrying weight tested be 20.5 kg time 1549 seconds arbitrary route.
